This chapter is also known as
"Something funny happened on the way to the ministry"
James
Taylor - October Road - On The 4th Of July
I have to be honest with you... I knew I was going to be a minister of some sort since
I was a little child... and yet, for a variety of reasons, I was turned off by the idea of
attending services in organized churches and religions, Christianity, frankly, since
that's the only religion I've known anything about most of my life.
It wasn't that I didn't like going to church, and it wasn't that I didn't like the
messages and music and people. If anything, especially reflecting on it these days,
I think what it was most is this feeling that if I didn't agree with everything they said,
or said something unpopular that I really believed that they never talked about, or did
things like smoke or play pinochle, that I wouldn't be accepted into the
"clique" of that particular church community.
And besides, like at businesses I worked at, I accepted that it was their church, and
that they had the right to have whatever rules and rituals they choose to have that
provide them with the spirit and word of God that satisfied what they sought in their
inquiry for truth and a closer relationship with God.
And I have to admit, because of my exposure to a good church when I was young, and
understanding the Golden Rule and the story of the Good Samaritan, and the sacrifice of
Jesus... as well as having a little vision in my church when I was 9 or 10 - I believed I
could be a good Christian just fine without feeling the pressure to conform to the rules
of a particular sect of Christianity just to feel justified that I lived my life like
people have the image of "good Christians" living.
James
Taylor - October Road - Carry Me On My Way
That may or may not be true... nonetheless, I made a little deal with God when I was 18
to be willing to do whatever He wanted me to do - in that little vision - when He decided
the time was right. In 2000, everything I learned along the way, the lessons and incites
and history and an inherent understanding of God's will called me into action.
Politically and spiritually.
The funny thing is, probably like you, the mage I get of ministers on TV and in the
news is not necessarily very complimentary about what it's like to be a Christian.
When I say Christian, I'm really talking about two sets of people. People who believe
in and try to be like Christ Jesus in their lives and the example they set to others, and
who go to church, or not, and then, people like me, who believe in the fundamentals; that
God is alive and present in our world in us and everything that exists, and that Christ
Jesus died for us and to provide so many examples in one man as to how we, as good
citizens sharing common cause for liberty and the intent of God of this creation, would
and could conduct ourselves in times of peace, in times of conflict as peacemakers and
protectors, as leaders and reporters and servants and governments and churches.
What I'm trying to get at is that here I am, 53 years old, saying that since I was nine
or 10, I knew I would be a minister, and yet, I didn't want to talk all that Biblical talk
like the Christians, and then get labeled one of those fanatics like the people they use
on TV to convince you of things like how Jesus would want you to kill Arabs in order to
control the oil of the world in order to force the world into submitting to the coercion
of America.
Really, it's true. Being a Christian, these days, in the media. makes you seem like
you're someone who claims to be psychic (which I am)... you know, coming from a whole
different point of view. Sort of different. And you're made to believe they look down on
you.
So, maybe you end up being labeled agnostic, or tell people you are just to shut them
up or something because you don't want to be saved at the moment... at least to their
standards, and you believe your relationship to and with God is just fine, and that in
actuality, you are a Christian... someone who believes in the example of Christ Jesus.. as
you and we all understand it.
And I want to say, if you're a Christian and are being offended by what I've written,
please understand that these are the same types of stereotypes that cause prejudice in the
world, injustices of all sorts, and are very much part of the "persecution" the
Bible predicts in the end of days. I hope maybe there is something you can learn by
this, such as how to not bring on your own persecution. I mean no offense, and
apologize if you've been insulted.
Phil
Collins - Testify - 04 - Don't Get Me Started
Back toward the end of 2002, I began to read the Bible thoroughly, researching and
studying theology and ancient history and so many other subjects, to be able to understand
what was going on in politics and in the world of Christianity and moral faiths of all
kinds, and was astounded at what I discovered.
Including the most important and sad and startling realization... that what my father
said way back in the 1950's was coming true. That the New World Order, the Tri-Lateral
Commission designed by Jimmy Carter back in 1958, was going awry as he feared it would.
He always said it was basically a good plan, but its flaw was that it relied on humans,
that it created a situation of having to place absolute trust on a world government too
easily corrupted by the temptations of power and money, and that its final installation
relied on the economic collapse of the U.S. and global economies, as well as a modern
Pearl Harbor like the false - flag terror attacks of September 11, 2001 in order to
legislate away civil liberties and other things discussed on this site in great detail.
You may wonder why I talk about politics and propaganda on this site about
Christianity? Jesus was a very political man, leading people both as a spiritual
leader and as a representative to the Church Elders and the Government.
The events of this time, particularly when reviewed in the grand view of history over
time, presents an opportunity to alter the course of history in terms of global leadership
and vision, replacing politicians who make false promises on behalf of financiers who
benefit from your suffering with honest public servants.
In addition, the United States claims to be a nation under God, believing in the same
fundamental values expressed in the 10 commandments, but more accurately, in the Golden
Rule. If you're an anarchist, you may be surprised to find out that the Kingdom of God is
an anarchy, in its full establishment, because an anarchy is a place where people conduct
themselves in a way that requires no rules or laws, except for one rule that can be
applied to every part of your life.
That is is the Golden Rule. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Kenny
Loggins - This Is It
It's really that simple, in concept, but is also quite a discipline to do it and
truly honor it at all times, in every moment that you interact with yourself, other
people, the world and your reverence for the creation of it all...
And interestingly enough, You can be a Christian - someone who follows the example of
Christ - without belonging to a Christian Religion.
With that, I'll suggest that, even though I use "Biblical words" these days,
even though it was nearly embarrassing at first to do so, I think you'll find this to be
an interesting and different site.
Different, because I'll give you an objective, big-picture look at the world and how
politics is played out in Hegellian Dialectics to deceive you into thinking the government
is serving you, among other things.
And I'll tell you some things that you'll wish, like I did, that weren't true. Bitter
pills. But I promise, they are all factual and corroborated over years of research. And
even more, what I love more, is bringing you what I think will give you some new insights
and thoughts about who God is, what's He's really like, what it means to be a Christian -
Christ like - and allowing you to understand God's will in a way that lets you
understand that God is a whole lot nicer than some of those fire and brimstone sermons
might have you believe, and remembering that in the Bible, when God was supposedly always
threatening people, that people write about disturbing things more than good things, and
there are certainly a whole lot more good things that God provides us all than the
episodes, important as they are to know and understand, displaying God's temper when
people have done things that have caused the world to be less pleasant, and have caused
more suffering than God ever imagined that the "evil-doers" would do.
Finally, for now, I'll tell you that I have lived a truly purpose-driven life, and that
it is my time to serve God, as a minister and as a representative, leader, teacher,
politician and musician... some people say I am a prophet, others have called me "The
Spirit of Truth".. They even gave me a Bible with a marker in the book of Judith to
inform me what that meant. I was surprised in one way, and glad that she (Judith) knew.
Mostly, I think of myself as a citizen of the United States who believes in Democracy
and the knowledge that God truly did intend for this nation to deliver the New World, the
Promised land, as His model for a well-governed land and world of liberty should be.
Some may call me a radical. I say I am a pragmatic and frugal citizen who knows the
truth.
But, if I could be anything to you, I would be the person you come to know as a friend,
and as someone who can and will deliver on my commitments and God's promises of the full
establishment of the Kingdom of God, fully understanding the importance of separation of
church and state as communicated in the Bible, as well as fully respecting that
governments should serve its citizens as honest administrators with values and policies
that reflect the will and moral faiths and values of the people.
Even more, that the theocracy God and Christ had in mind - the Universal Church -
includes all moral disciplines and walks of faith, and includes the worship and
understanding of God by any name. And, that every moral discipline has knowledge and
wisdom to share with every other moral discipline, which comprises the totality of the
knowledge of God and humanity and all being of the universe throughout all time.
With that, I hope I caused you to be curious enough to peruse the site and, hopefully,
realize it's not your typical political and/or Christian site. Sure, I get a little
sanctimonious at times these days, but I also am so concerned at the state of the world
and at the same time having the knowledge of what's going on behind the scenes that have
caused so many disasters of so many times.. and it's the Republicans AND the Democrats AND
the Council on Foreign Relations.
None of it has been by accident. None of it will be allowed to be swept under the
table. I promise you that I will not allow the corruption to go on. And that in the world
intended by God, things are a whole lot more fun. That really is a promise.
God Bless You!
