It's difficult to describe a four hour program in a few web pages. But, we think these are some of the more important things presented at the fair that helped to spread a message of hope, good information about AIDS that stressed condoms & abstinence, as well as breaking down barriers of community stigmatism regarding AIDS. |

Shahala is a
motivational speaker for the "Love Life" campaign - sponsored by the Gates
Foundation. She typically speaks to small groups at high schools regarding abstinence, condoms and AIDS - how to prevent it and treat it. She tells people that stopping AIDS is not just about saving our lives, but of saving the tribe itself. |

One of the GDCU
teachers at Sizathina High School (General Nsuza) undergoes an AIDS test so students and
community members would know how simple it is to ascertain their "status". The health worker explains everything to the audience, from how long it takes to get the test results (15-20 minutes), and how test results are confidential. |

The Community
Health Workers who had been our home visit guides perform the song they wrote for the
occasion. Listen to the song: |
