Dear Jesse -
First, let me express my respect for who you are as a human, and for your courage in
standing up for America. You are truly an American Hero, and a quintessential example
of a New Patriot.
Regarding - Don't Let The Revolution Start Without Me
I know that a group of people have done their best to make sure people like you and I
don't find out we exist and share a great number of ideas and ideals... but, here we are.
I saw you on the Colbert Show
(thought I'd mention him just to give him a little "bump".) talking about this
book. Of course, I've heard you talking about bi-cameral government and all before, and
was very impressed with your understanding and eloquence on the subjects of government,
governmental responsibility and process.
Besides, I used to watch you and Rick Flair... and MacMahon back when he was just an
announcer :} You wrestlers are yet another example of how we are trained to minimize and
marginalize people in jobs that don't appear to require "intelligence"... you
know what I'm talking about, that's why I knew you wouldn't be offended by me saying this
now.
When you look at farm workers, farmers, laborers of all kinds... they just just kind of
make up one more group of people that politicians and the media generally like to pigeon
hole, classify, and manipulate... using subliminal marketing techniques that have nothing
to do with spreading an honest message about what candidates and governments are really
planning to do with the power they are entrusted with on behalf of all citizens.
It's part of why, even though I was very good at writing and producing radio
commercials, I didn't like doing it after a while. I was put in the position of writing
scripts for things I didn't believe, didn't believe in... kind of like a political speech
writer.. it didn't matter if it was true or if you had any evidence for what you were paid
to write... my job was to make this company or product sounded good... even if it turned
out later on to be poison.
But, if I wanted to sell tires to a particular demographic, I could do it. I knew
another guy who was really good at selling pizza on the air. When I call talk radio shows,
the hosts have usually asked me if I was planning to be a politician. It's all the images
and stereotypes.
And then, the people in those "pigeon holes" aren't really given the chance
to express their concerns or even be treated as individual humans who count... they are
basically told by the politicians and the media what issues are going to be the subject of
their campaigns and administrations. And then, they get into office, and none of it
happens anyway. But the politicians used marketing statistics and slick advertising
techniques to "get elected"... although I have no faith that our election system
has elected anyone for generations...

That's why I'd doing something audacious for the revolution, and asking
you and everybody else to force the government to count our votes by making every vote
they cast a "write-in" vote, and demand a copy of their ballot for verification
later.
I'm laughing because I think you're sitting there laughing along with me
on this idea.:}It's only been done once before. How else can we actually make the
case to force them to count the votes?
And since I can't afford to run a presidential campaign... though somehow
I'm going to find a way...I intend to show the world how to really express straight talk,
and how a Democracy is really conducted. Won't that be fun? :}
By the way... given all the talk on this site about God and all... I just
want you to know that I respect your position as being an atheist.
I don't know how you define that... this will shock some people... but my
father claimed to be an atheist....
In my book, atheist means someone who does not ascribe to a particular
theology. Like the word a-typical, an a-theist is not theological, religious. This is
different than someone who claims to not believe in God. And it also doesn't mean
someone who is against God.
Upon much closer examination, you could say that an a-theist is someone
who understand the truth about the existence of one God, source of all matter in the
Universe and knowledge of the Cosmos.
Or you could take another nuanced approach and say that a theist is
someone who understands the singularity of the source and power of the universe.
Then, there are some who claim to be atheists who don't actually
understand the meaning of the word, and have accepted the common misconception that it
means Godless people who have no understanding or faith in the example of Christ or any
other prophet of any faith.
A true atheist understands the Biblical instruction to maintain cultural
instruction and communities in churches, and to leave government to people willing to
serve as not much more than an administrative staff to make sure the trains run on time so
the people can live their lives in the peace and joy God promised.
And that if churches did their jobs, the moral fabric and foundation of
the teachings of their faith would be reflected in the good judgement and equitable
service provided by the government.
It has nothing to do with causing or allowing a Godless society, let alone
an "anti-Christ" society or culture.
Government was not created to give career politicians job security and a
career path. Ministries were not created to give individuals platforms from which to
declare moral highground in administrative and political affairs.
Of course, people will turn that one back on me. But, then, I fully
respect the separation of church and state. As instructed in the Bible.
Wouldn't it be fun to gather you, me, Keith Ellison and Chaka Fatah...
maybe Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton... Ron Paul, Sheila Jackson Lee, and Kucinich
and Nader and Cynthia McKinney, Barbara Boxer and Christie Todd Whitman and Gloria
Steinem, maybe Olbermann and Dobbs and Cronkite and Dan Rather... and a few more people...
And make a real statement about how diverse individuals and interests
share at least one thing that's all important:
The inherent nature of beings to be free, and to be willing to stand up
for that freedom in whatever form it takes simply because there is nothing more important
in the universe than freedom....
Sir, I salute you, and am with you on this revolution. And I have good
news... news that will encourage you, particularly if you sift through this site, find out
who I am and who knows it... but God is in control in a certain way right now.... have
some faith... my inside sources say we have some miracles in store...
